How a sheer shade works
Two layers of sheer knit with soft fabric vanes suspended between them. Vanes open, the shade reads like a sheer drapery and floods the room with filtered light; vanes tilted, it gives privacy like a blind without going dark; fully raised, it disappears into the headrail. The vane width sets the look - 2-inch for smaller windows, 3-inch for tall glass - and vane fabrics run from bright and airy to room-dimming.
