A freshly remodeled main house and guest house on a Boca Raton fairway - lacquered basswood shutters with 3 1/2 inch louvers and no visible tilt rod, Coulisse Edmonton blackout honeycomb added behind them on solar-charged Somfy CL32 WireFree motors for a fully dark morning, Phifer SheerWeave 2500 V21 Charcoal rollers on Sonesse 30 RTS, and ripplefold drapery in Kravet Smart under a custom wood valance in the master bedroom, on Telis 16 and TaHoma, later integrated into Control4. A canal-and-ocean condo where the shades had about two and a half inches to live in - Somfy Sonesse 30 Zigbee rollers in Mermet Elba Daylight, Limestone, with Elba Twilight blackout in the bedroom, behind a custom lacquered basswood valance with a 60-degree corner cut on the spot, one 110-inch shade on a reinforced tube, every shade synchronized, on TaHoma with a wall-mounted Zigbee remote, Apple Home and Siri. Our largest project to date - a new estate with every shade, track and Roman in a ceiling pocket: coupled Coulisse rollers on one motor, sixteen-foot sheers flush to the floor, a theatre in double-sided velvet, all on Somfy Sonesse 50 and Glydea 60 dry-contact motors run from a Lutron keypad in every room, with not one remote in the house. The same oceanfront residence three times on three floors - Mermet E Screen 3% on the side exposure and 5% on the ocean, Sparta Twilight blackouts in the bedrooms, Somfy Sonesse 50 RTS on 2.5-inch tubes, a power panel and TaHoma switch in every unit on Crestron and Google Home, hard-wired through the building's conduit.
