Invisible Speakers, Serious Sound: The Sonance Invisible Series

Designers spend months perfecting a ceiling, then the AV plan pierces it with a grid of white grilles. There is a better way: speakers that install completely behind the plaster and play through it, leaving nothing to see at all. How a wall can play music
An Invisible Series speaker is a flat panel that mounts flush in a standard wall or ceiling cavity and gets skim-coated with plaster, then painted or even wallpapered with the rest of the surface. Instead of a cone firing through a grille, the panel gently vibrates the finished surface itself, turning a section of the wall into the radiating diaphragm. Done right - and installation is everything here - the result is a room simply filled with sound that has no visible source.

Our clients invest in couture draperies and minimalist Palladiom hardware precisely because they care about how every surface resolves. Invisible audio belongs to the same philosophy: a living room can hold a full surround system with not one grille interrupting the ceiling. Media rooms, primary suites, powder rooms, galleries - anywhere the eye should rest on architecture, not equipment.
What it takes to do well
This is not a swap-in product; it is planned in with the wall finishes. Cavity depth, plaster type, and placement are engineered before drywall, and the panels are commissioned after finishing - which is why Adom handles Invisible Series installs as part of a coordinated project, ideally alongside our pre-wire stage for shading.
Where it fits in a whole-home system
