Classic control, custom quality

Horizontal blinds remain the most precise mechanical light control at the window: tilt the slats a few degrees and the room changes. Ours are custom-cut to the opening - real hardwood for warmth, moisture-proof faux wood for baths and kitchens, slim aluminum for modern spaces.

Stains and paints are matched to your millwork, valances conceal the headrail, and cordless or motorized tilt keeps things clean and child-safe. Measured and installed by our own team across South Florida.

How We Build It

Wood and faux wood blinds, custom-cut

Every blind is cut to the opening, not to the nearest catalog size: real basswood in stains matched to your floors and millwork, humidity-proof faux wood composite for baths and kitchens, slim 1-inch aluminum for a crisp modern profile. Slats come in 2-inch and 2.5-inch widths - larger slats give more view, smaller suit small windows - with valances that conceal the headrail, cordless lift for child safety and motorized tilt that joins your automation system.

South Florida

Wood blinds in South Florida

Houses in Victoria Park, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Boca's country-club communities with divided-light windows and French doors are where wood blinds belong; coastal humidity pushes baths, kitchens and covered patios toward faux wood. Sliding doors are better served by vertical blinds or Allusion sheer verticals, and clients who want the permanent version choose plantation shutters. Measured and installed by our own team in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton and Palm Beach.

Good to Know

Frequently asked

Real wood or faux wood?

Faux wood wins in humidity; real wood is lighter and warmer for living spaces.

Can blinds be motorized?

Yes - motorized tilt integrates with your automation system.

What slat size should I pick?

Larger slats give more view; 2" suits smaller windows.

Blinds or shutters?

Blinds cost less; shutters are permanent architecture - see plantation shutters.

Do wood blinds warp in Florida humidity?

Inside a conditioned home, real basswood does well; in baths, kitchens and covered patios we specify faux wood, which does not warp or fade.

Can wood blinds be motorized?

Yes - motorized tilt on Lutron and Somfy systems, joined to the same keypads, remotes and schedules as your shades.
