Four coastal neutrals, dense weave, blackout available
Harbor is a four-colour Gallery family (Pearl, Sand, Fog, Anchor): 100% polyester, light-filtering at under 1% openness, 108 inches wide, PVC-free, lead free and Oeko-Tex certified. Harbor Blackout matches the colours with an acrylic foam backing. Both are seamable, not railroadable.
Anchor is a deep grey and, with the under-1% weave, is dark enough to serve as a room-darkening shade on its own in many rooms.
What Harbor does on your glass, and what it does not
Best use
Four colours, and the darkest of them does most of the work. Pearl, Sand and Fog belong in living rooms and bedrooms that should stay light through the day. Anchor is the one for a den, a study or a media room, where a deep grey at under 1% openness pulls the light level right down. Harbor Blackout matches all four for the rooms that have to go dark.
Privacy
Under 1% openness gives complete daytime cover on a canal or a courtyard, whichever of the four you choose. At night the light-filtering face shows what any light-filtering face shows, which is a moving shape against a lit room, and Anchor slows that down without stopping it. Harbor Blackout stops it. Its white back also keeps the building reading the same from the water.
Glare control
Anchor is the glare answer on this card. A dark light-filtering cloth at under 1% openness absorbs rather than scatters, so the panel stays quiet and a television or a monitor sits comfortably against that window. Pearl and Sand do the opposite and light up. None of the four gives you the view back, and on a low sun the whole panel brightens regardless of colour.
Limitations
Anchor is dark, but a dark light-filtering cloth is not a blackout, and with the sun on it the panel still glows and the room does not go black. For sleep, take the blackout. Both versions stop at 108 inches, so a slider wall becomes two or three shades with a light line at each joint, and no fire rating is published for either.

Very similar fabrics: same construction, same openness, same width. Harbor's card is cooler and coastal (Pearl, Sand, Fog, Anchor); Mirage's is warmer (Cotton, Heather, Sand, Mesa). Pick by colour.
How wide can a Lutron Harbor shade be?
Lutron publishes a maximum usable fabric width of 108 inches for Harbor. It can be seamed for wider openings, or two shades share one headrail and move together. We confirm the exact limit for the chosen system when we measure.
