Fasano Fifth Avenue, New York
Three layers over Central Park - Villa Nova chenille hand-drawn on Forest Group rods, striped white sheers, and motorized blackout behind them, to Carla D'Aquino's palette.
Fifth Avenue, by hand
Under the 815 canopy, up to the residence: Central Park and the skyline through the French doors, chenille and striped sheer at the glass, and the spiral stair glowing at the end of the day.

A Miami workroom on Fifth Avenue
A private residence at Fasano Fifth Avenue, 815 Fifth Avenue - the storied limestone address at the corner of Central Park. When Carla D'Aquino of CD Home Design, the Miami designer behind the interiors, needed her window treatments executed in New York, she brought the workroom she trusts at home: ours.
The design asked for the classic hotel gesture, done properly. Every treatment operates by hand - pinch-pleat drapery in Villa Nova's Atlantis Camelia, an EasyClean chenille, traveling with striped white sheers on Forest Group decorative rods - so drawing the curtains over Central Park stays the small daily ritual it should be. Behind them, out of sight, motorized blackout rollers do the modern work of darkness.
Measured in Manhattan, sewn in our own South Florida workroom, shipped north and installed by our own crew - three layers deep on every French door, in a building where nothing less than perfect gets past the lobby.
